A Virtual Assistant is an Independent Contractor in that they are not an employee of your company, but rather work for themselves, and you, on an hourly basis, per job. That being said, the appropriate contract will be sent to you before any work should begin including any and all information that pertains to rate of pay, job description, deadline to meet, etc.
Upon your review and signature required, your services will begin.
